Cappricio No. 10b, Op. 3 in d minor is one of several capriccios composed by Friedrich Kuhlau (1786-1832). Kuhlau was born in Germany but moved to Denmark at age 24 and later became a Danish citizen. Kuhlau was a pianist although I often think of him as a flutist as he wrote so many compositions for flute including a number of duets for two flutes. All are particularly well-suited to the tonal expressive nature of the flute.
“Hello Sarah,
I am just writing to offer our sincere thanks to you for your Meditative Flute during Flora in Winter. We heard many compliments from guests over the three days. The beautiful atmosphere your music created was a pleasure to experience. We would love to have you here again in the future. “
